Dt.Ünal Okutan is a General Dentist. He is a graduate of İstanbul University, Turkey in 1964.

Dt. Okutan is one of the first dentistst completing the Dental implant courses done in the 80's in Turkey. He has an extensive knowledge and experience in dental field collected during his over 45 years of dental work.

Dr. Okutan has completed his graduate studies at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany in 2000. After his doctorate thesis in the field of İmplantology, he then completed the postgraduate program at the Department of Prosthodontics at the Albert Ludwig University.

In 2005 Dr. Okutan was appointed at the University of Queensland, School of Dentistry, Oral Rehabilitation Department, in Australia as a Course Coordinator for Prosthodontics. His activities, both in teaching, clinical practice and clinical research, cover the field of Prosthodontics and Oral Implantology. In 2008, he became a member of the ICP (International College of Prosthodontists).

In 2010 Dr. Mehmet Okutan began working in private practice with his father Dr. Unal Okutan in İstanbul. Currently he is focusing in particularly complex Implant supported prosthesis and full ceramic prosthetic treatment. Since 2012 he also works in Arcus Dental Clinic which is a specialists clinic in Nişantaşı.
